Do the Bike Trips include Flights and Transportation from the Airport?
Airfare is not included, but transportation from the airport is. We provide what we call "Airport to Airport" service, picking you up as soon as you land. Need help booking your flight? Let us know—we have the right connections to find the perfect flight for you.

Is accommodation included in the Vacation Package?
Yes, our vacation packages are all-inclusive, offering a hassle-free experience with stays at nice, authentic hotels.

How many participants are in a Vacation Group?
Each trip is limited to just 6 people, ensuring a personalized, white-glove service for everyone—except if you have a bigger family and want to travel together, in which case we can accommodate your group.

How many people are in a Coaching Session?
Coaching sessions are one-on-one, meaning it’s just YOU and your coach.

What happens in case of bad weather on one of the trips?
We still ride, but you can decide if you'd like to sit it out. We believe there’s no bad weather, just the wrong clothing—plus, wet trails often provide better grip and add to the fun!

What’s the best way to fuel and hydrate for long rides?
Staying energized and hydrated is crucial for long rides. We recommend having a variety of light snacks and plenty of water or electrolyte drinks on hand to keep your energy levels up. Start hydrating well before your ride and drink regularly throughout. At Ooh Shift, we offer a range of nutrition products, including energy bars and electrolyte drinks, to help you stay fueled and hydrated for your entire journey.

How far in advance do I have to book my trip or training session?
We can’t always provide a specific time frame, as our booking situation changes frequently. However, we recommend booking well in advance, especially for weekends, public holidays, and during the holiday season to secure your spot.

Where is the Bike Rental?
For each trip, we partner with local bike rental providers at your destination. During booking, we’ll need your height and weight, and your rental bike will be ready for you upon arrival, ensuring a smooth start to your ride.

How do the coaches conduct bike fittings?
Our coaches perform personalized bike fittings to ensure maximum comfort and performance. We offer both Standard and Performance fittings. The fitting process includes a comprehensive assessment of your riding style, flexibility, and body measurements. Using special bike fitting tools, sensors, and advanced technology, the coach makes precise adjustments to your saddle height, handlebar position, and other components to match your unique physiology and riding preferences. During the entire fitting session, we are in our studio, where a test ride follows to fine-tune the adjustments, ensuring that you feel confident and comfortable on your bike.

How do coaches obtain the metabolic profile?
Coaches obtain your metabolic profile through a combination of specialized assessments and data collection tools. These include lactate meters, power meters, bike trainers, ergometers, GPS watches, and metabolic carts. These devices help measure key physiological markers such as metabolic rate, lactate thresholds, and cardiovascular performance. By using this data, coaches can create a customized plan that is tailored to your specific metabolic needs, helping you achieve your fitness goals more effectively.
